Chapter Nine - Hangin' Up the Helmet

All things eventually come to an end, and all heroes eventually ride off into the sunset. As young as he still looks today, TC was no exception to "the cruel rule". The pounding and bouncing took a toll on his body until he had to submit. The fifteen years after his last championship, and the 2 years since his last win at the time he retired, are evidential to his refusal to go down quietly.

The trail of records, championships, and victories is uncountable. Had they kept records for the early part of his career, his all time total would be even more staggering than it is. Even without those victories being counted, his totals are still amongst the best ever.

When he finally retired in 1997, his youngest son Donnie took over the wheel of the #57. After a few years of the learning process, Donnie is ready to step up to the plate, and make a run at bringing home the Lebanon Valley title to the Corellis family. He'll do it . After all ... he is his father's son.
